I find the sky in this region to be such a rich blue, and to my eye it brings out the subtle colours and hues of the world below. Here, I leaned into the red-orange warmth of sunlight on the pines’ trunks and the cool, deep purple shadows; the contrast between the two is sharp and striking, with the filtered light passing through the tall trees of the man-made forest.
